Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, officially opened the facility at the Ozone Techno Park in Chennai in the presence of several top state authorities.
According to the corporation, this sharpens Cognizant’s focus on the hybrid work model in Tamil Nadu, where it employs over 81,000 people mostly in Chennai and Coimbatore. Tamil Nadu continues to be a crucial talent and international delivery base for Cognizant, according to Rajesh Nambiar, Chairman and Managing Director of Cognizant India. The company will keep growing its associate base, develop talent in cutting-edge technology, and extend its numerous programmes to help the community through partnerships and volunteer activities.

On Monday, Tech Mahindra, a major technology company, stated that it expected to hire 1,000 people for its newly opened campus in Tidel Park Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in FY22-23. The organisation will use the employment process to find local talent.
