MOOC Course In AKTU – MOOC are known as Massive open online courses through which a large number of learners can enroll for the course from various prestigious institutes. Students can learn from highly skilled Professors working in the field for many years and develop their skills.
AKTU presented MOOC courses in their curriculum as online courses are increasing day by day. It enables thousands of learners to participate in the same course with high-quality content and interactive tools for learning. Mooc offers various courses in every field ranging from Btech to Agriculture, where students can enroll themselves and get certificates after completing.
MOOC course in AKTU are compulsory?
AKTU has opted for AICTE Model Curriculum in which students has to get certain numbers of credits from online MOOCs course in the span of 4 years. AKTU brings MOOC courses into their curriculum so that learn a different thing and get benefit from it, but NPTEL MOOC in course is compulsory in B.TEch? The answer is no, NPTEL MOOC courses or NPTEL courses are not compulsory for B.Tech students.
These MOOC course in AKTU are brought into the curriculum so that students can learn from prestigious institutes of the country, but MOOC courses can help students to get a B.tech Honours degree.

Eligibility for B.Tech Hons. degree in AKTU
After successful completion of 160 credits, a student shall be eligible to get Under Graduate degree in Engineering. A student will be eligible to get Under Graduate degree with Honours only, if he/she completes additional university recommended courses only (Equivalent to 20 credits; NPTEL Courses of 4 Weeks, 8 Weeks and 12 Weeks shall be of 2, 3 and 4 Credits respectively)through MOOC course in AKTU.
After successful completion of these Moocs courses the students, shall, provide their successful completion NPTEL status/certificates to the University (COE) through their college of study only. The student shall be awarded Hons. Degree (on successful completion of MOOCS based 20 credit) only if he/she secures 7.50 or above CGPA and passed each subject of that Degree Programme in single attempt without any grace marks.

Students can register for NPTEL courses by visiting the official website of NPTEL Swayam and selecting the courses from above list and can start learning, below are the steps students can register:-
- Visit the official website of Swayam.
- Click on Sign-In/Register button in the top-right corner.
- Register yourself using your Google Gmail Account.
- Select your desired courses from the list.
- After selecting click on the Join button on the main page of Course.
