NPTEL stands for National Programme on Technology Enhanced learning it was initiated by the ministry of human resource development. NPTEL Online Courses are a joint Ventures by Seven IITs and IISc which is funded by the government of India by the Ministry of MHRD.

4. Select your desired courses from the list.
5. After selecting click on Join Button on the main page of Course.

How To Get NPTEL Certificate –

If you want to get a Certificate for the respective NPTEL online courses you have enrolled for from IITs/IISc after completing the course. NPTEL Swayam is/are a free learning platform for everybody where you can learn anything but if you want a certificate of Prestigious institution in India. Then you have to appear for Proctored exam in a physical manner, NPTEL courses are free to enroll but you have to pay INR 1000 to appear for the examination.

3. Register for In-person Proctored exam and appear for exam.

Eligibilty criteria for NPTEL Online courses certificate:-

NPTEL Mooc courses are of different duration varying from 4 weeks/8 weeks/ 12 weeks. So if you want a certificate then you have to score 40% overall including marks of assignments and final exam.

The Final Exam Pattern/Format for NPTEL Course are based on Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ) computer based but few courses are pen paper-based.

No. of Questions:- 50

Sections – 3 sections :

1. In 1st section 10 questions
2. In 2nd section 15 questions
3. In 3rd section 25 questions.

Each question carry same marks with no negative marking.

Duration:- 3hrs but if you finish exam early you can leave after half time.
